The OLLIE Foundation is a suicide prevention charity, set up in 2016 by three Hertfordshire parents who had each lost a son to suicide. They met in bereavement support and vowed to do all they could to stop another family going through the heartache they were experiencing. OLLIE's mission is to reduce the incidence of suicide. We do this by providing suicide prevention and intervention training and events for professionals, those with a duty of care for others and to children and young people in their educational setting.

We also provide a range of in-person and online wellbeing events and run a community garden with events in the garden.

Come and join The OLLIE Foundation on the first Saturday of every month from 9:30-10:30am for our Grow and Gather Group!
Come rain or shine, Team OLLIE will be at the Sandridge Road Allotments, St Albans, ready to chat and listen with anybody who would like to join us.

Possible activities during the sessions may include:

🌱 Coffee and cake, simply an opportunity to connect with others with a warm drink

🌱 Plot maintenance - painting raised beds, potting plants, fixing equipment

🌱 Sowing bulbs /seeds

🌱 General tidying of the plot & weeding

🌱 An opportunity to hear about the support that OLLIE can offer

You are welcome to turn up to the garden, however if you can register ahead of time via this page it helps us monitor numbers ahead of each morning.
