Riverside Walk (Westmorland Park & Runfold Avenue Playground)
The Riverside Walk (also known as the Lea Valley Walk) is 50 miles in total, starting by the Marsh Farm tower blocks, all the way down to the River Thames.
On this walk there are 2 parks, the first near Leagrave: Westmorland Park. It has a tyre swing, 2 climbing frames with slides, swings, an easy assault course, and wooden bees and swans. This is also part of the National Cycle Network so great for a little bike ride too.
There is another, slightly run down, park on this route called the Runfold Avenue playground. It has swings, 2 wooden climbing frames with scramble nets and slides, a spinner bowl and see-saw. Definitely in need of some TLC but on the route!
