St. Matthew's Primary School opened in September 2006, following the amalgamation of the former St. Matthew's Infant School and St. Matthew's Junior School.
St Matthew's Primary is a popular, well-regarded, happy, energetic, confident and thriving school community offering an all-round education for children age 4-11 years. Our school is situated in High Town, a historic and culturally diverse area of Luton, very close to the town centre. Many children in our school are bilingual, speaking over 50 languages between them!
St Matthew's Primary School is one of the largest primary schools in Luton, with four classes in each year group, and we usually have waiting lists for most year groups, especially Reception.
