Education & childcare

Wonderland was established in September 1995 and is a co-operative nursery. It was established in recognition of the need to provide a fully staffed and equipped daycare.

Wonderland provides a safe, happy and caring environment from newborn to 5 years, with fully qualified staff and regular ongoing training such as first aid, SEN, safeguarding, health and safety, fire protection and food hygiene. Safeguarding, safety and welfare are paramount.

The ethos of our nursery is to provide a stimulating environment to cover all areas of learning and development, and to enhance the awareness of multi-cultural society, and to promote and value diversity and differences. We provide children with a happy and caring atmosphere that will enable them to be interested, excited and motivated to learn.

We acknowledge and value each child's individual needs and ability regardless of age, stage, culture, religion and language. We allow them opportunity to explore create, imagine and interact through play. We promote equality of opportunity for children with special educational needs and their families.
