Downside Children's Pre-School opened in 2000. It is privately run and operates within the grounds of Downside Primary School. It has a large open space for children, two classrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, toilets and a large secure open garden area.
There are currently 80 children from three to under five years on roll. The Pre-School is registered to provide sessional care. They also have a recently build two year old unit within the Pre-School, offering care for funded two year olds with currently 40 two year olds on roll.
