Unplugged Tots
Are you concerned with the amount of screen time your child/ren have?
Would you like screen free activities where they learn some of the foundations of computer coding?
"We must invest in our children, who will be our engineering innovators of the future" Professor Danielle George MBE
Unplugged Tots was founded in 2021, a lockdown baby! However, the concept has been around since 2018 when we took our activities to the local nursery school and introduced some 4 year olds to the world of computational thinking, algorithms, pattern recognition, debugging and collaboration.
I support parents and educational practitioners with screen free (fun) activities that will gently introduce some of the key skills that are relevant in our technology driven world.
Help your child learn:
• Problem solving skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Collaboration techniques
• Resilience
• Foundations to computational thinking (algorithms, deconstruction, sequencing, pattern recognition)
My PDFs explain the activities with full instructions. Some PDFs are worksheets, some have activities that involve baking, art, crafts, cutting, sticking, colouring but they all involve fun!
