Children's activity clubs & classes

Climb Hitchin is a charity group promoting and supporting both indoor and outdoor climbing in Hitchin and the surrounding areas. We are fortunate to have access to the climbing wall at the Priory School.

Climbing at the Priory is available for adults (18+) every Monday and Thursday between 2030-2200 and for those age 7-18 on Monday and Thursday between 1900-2030. Space is limited per session and must be booked in advance on this website. Parking is available on site and the wall is located just to the left as you face the school (where the arrow is on the map below).

We offer:

National Indoor Climb Award Scheme (NICAS) for those ages 7+
Top/Bottom rope climbing and instruction to learn to climb
Lead climbing and instruction in how to lead climb
Movement and technique coaching on a one-off or ongoing basis
Bespoke outdoor days around top-roping or learning sport or trad climbing
