Things to do

In 1982 we started to sell our own fruit and veg from a shed in the field and we have steadily built up an award-winning business which now provides a wide range of quality fresh produce and fine foods. We have expanded to accommodate ever more exciting produce, but always sticking to our roots of selling good fruit and veg and supporting local suppliers wherever we can.

We have been growing strawberries and raspberries since 1978. We also have an excellent pick your own that makes a fun family activity during summer months. We also harvest our own Asparagus, which is in season during May and June.

In the summer we grow fresh flowers - delphiniums, cosmos, larkspur, godetia and cornflower which can be purchased in our shop. We grow a variety of pumpkins and squash available from October for culinary use and Halloween as well ornamental gourds that make interesting autumnal decoration.

In 2010 we expanded once again by building our wonderful Café with its stunning views. The Café has an excellent local reputation earning it many awards as well as inclusion in the Waitrose Good Food Guide.
