Mini Mozart offer fun, interactive music classes for babies & toddlers featuring professional musicians (all music graduates!) playing orchestral instruments and telling a different story or fable each week and WE'RE CURRENTLY OFFERING FREE* PLACES FOR BABIES UP TO 5 MONTHS OLD!

The main difference between Mini Mozart and other music classes is that we only use Live Music and at least 2 superb musicians perform and interact with the children at every class. Parachutes, bubbles, instruments and puppets just add to the musical fun!

The teacher will showcase their musical instrument(s), so once your little one has heard and seen the clarinet, saxophone, or double bass or any other orchestral instrument, they'll get to touch it too whilst being accompanied by the piano.

But that's not all! We use classical music to bring stories to life and each week there's a different one, so we might sing Sleeping Bunnies to a snoozing hare in The Hare & The Tortoise, Wind The Bobbin Up to make The Emperor's New Clothes, listen to Mozart or Chopin whilst trying to catch some bubbles, or shake the parachute to the contrasting movements of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

So what are the benefits of attending Mini Mozart classes, and what makes them so special for Babies and Toddlers?

It's all LIVE - Babies and Toddlers will start to understand how music is created by watching our musicians, hearing them play and getting to touch the instruments

- It's EDUCATIONAL - Little ones are introduced to [email protected] musical concepts of pitch, rhythm, dynamics and tempo through singing, movement and touch. Their listening skills become enhanced - rather than merely hearing, they learn to actively and avidly listen.

- It aides their DEVELOPMENT - Babies and Toddlers start to develop musical expectations through repetition, which, when realised, instil incredible confidence.

- It's FUN for them - Through singing and movement, bubbles and games, parachute and puppets, your orchestral musician and their piano accompanist will create live magical musical moments to captivate your little one.

- It's FUN for you - We use music graduates who are able to call on a wealth of musical knowledge when talking about repertoire and keep things interesting for grown-ups too! Parents/carers refresh their memories on hazy nursery rhyme words and tunes, shake the parachute, catch the bubbles, and listen to a different story or fable each week, and take true joy in experiencing the music along with their child.

Classes run at Benslow Music Trust in Hitchin on Monday mornings.
