"All my 3 kids have thoroughly enjoyed going to the classes with Signing Sam @ the SigningCompany!🥰 They started when they were only babies and continued until they were old enough to learn how to sign the alphabet! Very fun but also educational classes as they (and us parents!) get to learn how to actually sign. My 18m old started signing "milk" after her very first class and my 3 year old learned how to read by learning the signs for the alphabet! Great way to make long lasting friendships too! 🥰"

"Of all the activities we've attended over the last two years, these classes have been the absolute highlight. Learning to sign has had such a positive impact on our ability to communicate before our daughter's speech developed and it's been lovely to learn a new skill together. The classes are fun, relaxed and very engaging and perfectly tailored to the age of the children. The high quality videos and resources that support the classes enable other members of the family to get involved too even when they can't attend in person due to work commitments and they also ensure you can catch up when you have to miss a session. Becky and Louise put so much effort and energy into creating a really warm and welcoming environment and supporting everyone, I can't praise the classes highly enough, we've really loved every minute!"

"Signing Babies / Toddlers is hands down (no pun intended!) the best class available in the area, and excellent value for money. Becky is an excellent teacher, and manages to engage children even when they're tired or having a tough day. Signing is the highlight of our week and, after lots of songs and giggles, we always leave happier than we arrive! We've been attending for about a year now and it's been a valuable, rewarding class. I would recommend it to everyone!"

"This baby group has been so enjoyable. Becky is really lovely and very supportive and most welcoming. My son and I have thoroughly enjoyed the group and have learned a lot about signing which is now apart of how we try other ways of communicating together. The songs and signing Sam are our favourite part of the group as the songs are really catchy and fun and signing sam is just rather cute. The toys and props that are used are lovely for the babies to play with and there not taken away constantly - they are left out for the babies to enjoy throughout which I thought was lovely. I hope to continue our journey and go to the next group that follows as we feel like it is the group for us that we want to continue for as long as we can! :) "

"We love Becky's BSL signing class. Becky and her colleagues are very welcoming and friendly. They importantly have BSL qualifications and expertise. There are many groups today offering signing but they aren't always teaching the correct signs and some make it up. It's reasurring we are learning proper basic BSL signs. My children have enjoyed the classes and learnt so much. The different class ages really help the children to grow in confidence and communication. I was amazed how quickly my little ones started to recognise and sign back once joining Becky's class. From 6 /7mths old! They were very happy we quickly understood what they wanted or were trying to say to us etc ... e.g. milk please, food, nappy change, where's mummy/daddy, cat/ dog etc. Becky's classes are more than simply learning BSL signs, they are fun and relaxed sessions involving many games, music, instruments, puppets, story books, songs and lots of bubbles. The children learn a wide range of skills without realising. Perfect for getting ready for or learning alongside skills in a nursery /school setting. Including socialising, fine motor skills, understanding instructions, pattern and number recognition, music and rhythm and the older children in 'Talkers' start to learn the basics of phonics too. My youngest can already recognise his name letter outside of the class and is excited to sign it, repeat the sound and think of other words with the same name/sound .. he is 3yrs. I cannot recommend The Signing Company more highly. A lovely group of teachers who are fun, qualified and experienced with helping little ones start/ develop their communication skills."

"Absolutely fantastic class: supporting communication & development in a fun way with friendly, knowledgeable experts. My LO and I have been going from 5 months & she's 2 now. I feel sorry for kids who don't have the opportunity to learn British Sign Language (BSL) as it really aids communication & reduces frustration - as they can 1) understand signs you use even before they can sign, 2) sign before they can talk & 3) it aids your understanding if they sign alongside speaking, as they don't always anunciate well! It always amazed me to see my LO signing from such a young age! Top tip: Some other baby classes do made-up signs or Makaton - if you're going to learn a new language, might as well learn it properly and learn BSL with Becky! "

"I could not recommend enough. It is the only group I have consistently signed up to for my now 2 year old. Both he and I love them. Louise is brilliant, making the sessions fun and engaging and gives so much personalised attention to each child. The sessions are friendly and relaxed but Rhys definitely takes in the signs we learn each week, using them at home often. We are looking forward to starting the talkers group next term! "

"We've been going to classes in both Letchworth and Hitchin since September 2022, and it is by far our favourite class. My little boy has recently started using the sign for milk, and is becoming more and more interactive in the classes. We would thoroughly recommend these classes - both Becky and Louise are brilliant teachers, and the classes are both fun and educational for both child and parent!"

"My 2 year old has been going to these classes since she was 6 months old. We both love them so much! Learning signs initially helped her communicate with me before she could speak. It was amazing to understand what she was trying to communicate. She is bilingual and it has also helped us link the two languages together. She now goes to Signing Talkers where she has learnt so many letters and sounds she surprised me with what she knows. Highly recommend and looking forward to starting with my second soon."

"Fantastic classes. I have been taking my little boy since 4 months old and he is now 2. He really enjoys the songs, games and learning to sign. Both Becky and Louise are very knowledgeable and supportive. You can ask for extra signs you may wish to use at home too. Signing is so useful in reducing tantrums and helping my little boy communicate."

"Me and my son have tried a number of local baby/toddler groups and this is by far our favourite. Not only are the classes fun and interactive but at 17 months he's already regularly signing words which is helping him to communicate. Definitely recommend!"

The classes are fun and interactive and Becky is absolutely lovely with my boy who insists on crawling all over her and Signing Sam! We're hopeful the signs will be useful before our baby can talk, but even if not, this is one of my favourite baby classes I've done. "
