VILLAGE NURSERY
St Paul's Walden is a superb pre-school for children aged 2 to 5, in an idyllic village setting.

FULLY QUALIFIED STAFF
All staff hold relevant childcare qualifications and regularly attend courses to update their knowledge and skills.

KEY PEOPLE
Our setting uses a key person approach. This means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom she/he is particularly responsible. Your child's key person will be the person who works with you to make sure that what we provide is right for your child's particular needs and interests. When your child first starts at the setting, she/he will help your child to settle and throughout your child's time at the setting, she/he will help your child to benefit from the setting's activities.

COMMITTEE LED GOVERNANCE
A management committee of parents administers the Pre-School. The committee is responsible for deciding Pre-School policies, determining fees and dealing with all behind the scenes administration.

EYFS CURRICULUM
We provide a rich and varied programme of activities and experiences that are appropriate to the children's age and stage of development. At nursery, we continually observe, listen to and assess the children in our care. This enables us to record their achievements in each of the seven areas of learning as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

OFSTED RATED GOOD
We are proud and delighted to have received Good from Ofsted in December 2018.
