Parties

Mini Mozart parties feature two musicians (or more if you wish!); an orchestral leader and a piano accompanist to help the party for your 0-5 year old go with a swing. We'll take your guests on a magical musical journey culminating in Happy Birthday - which is, of course, your cue to bring out the cake!

Thinking about having a party for your little one, but don't know where to start? Here's our suggestions:

1. Venue. Book a hall or your own home (if you dare!) We can work in either one. If your chosen venue has a piano, then all the better, but if not, we can bring a keyboard with us.

2. Timings. Two hours will be perfect (and make sure you put that on the invitation so people know what to expect) - any more and things start getting really crazy, any less, and you won't fit it all in. We'll start our c.50 mins entertainment slot about 10-15 mins after the party starts to give people time to arrive and settle, and then you'll have the final hour or so to feed the little ones.

3. Entertainment. Mini Mozart of course! :-) We have years of experience ensuring that children and adults (we're not going to lie, adult participation with really little ones is very much encouraged!) have a total blast! If you have a theme in mind, we'll have a story that fits, and we're happy to incorporate your little one's favourite songs along the way. The magical musical journey will transport you from the story, to music, to bubbles, a giant scrunchie via a bouncy lycra pond with puppets and more, all with a piano accompanist to make sure your bash goes with a swing!

4. Food & Drink. Honestly, parties aren't the time to be too healthy - give 'em what you know they'll love!

5. Capture it all. Believe us, you will be busy enough on the day being host so either outsource taking photos and filming to a professional or enlist the help of a reliable artistic friend to capture all those super cute moments.

6. Party bags. Why not give the planet a rest from the inevitable plastic toys landfill and give a book instead? We love any of the sound books from The Story Orchestra (from Quarto books).

7. Clearing up. Enlist help - and make sure there's a glass of something cold ready for yourself at the end of the day! :-)
