Hitchin Youth Brass Band
Age: 6 - 14
Learning to play a brass instrument or interested in having a try? Then come and join Hitchin Youth Brass Band. You can develop your musical skills, have fun and make some new friends at the same time. There is no audition - we welcome players of all ages and experience, even beginners. Music making enhances brain function, helps with maths and language skills, improves self discipline and concentration and builds confidence.
We're a not-for-profit club charging £1 a week and have a selection of brass instruments to loan children, for use when they join. We lead our sessions with enthusiasm - motivating and encouraging players to achieve their very best, and have an experienced team of volunteers from Hitchin Band and Hitchin Community Brass helping out each week. We are affiliated to Brass Bands England and have all relevant safeguarding checks.
Where: Oughton School, Mattocke Road, Hitchin, SG5 2NZ
When: Monday 6.30 -7.30pm during term time (excluding bank holidays)
