Babe Club Silent Disco
Babe Club Silent Disco is a body-positive, judgment-free dance-based support group where you can find solace, support, and some much-needed fun. The sessions are aimed at parents and carers of babies under 6 months, but there is no real cut-off age. As long as you are confident that you can carry your baby in a sling, and/or that you can keep you and your baby safe whilst you dance, then that's all that matters. We understand the challenges, sleepless nights, and anxieties that come with being a new parent or carer, and we're here to create a warm and welcoming space for you.
--> No need to worry about dance experience or pressure to perform. Babe Club is a place where you can feel at ease, whether you dance your heart out or simply relax and watch.
--> With two different music channels, you're free to explore and find the beats that resonate with you.
--> Your baby's hearing is our top priority. Our silent disco ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for both of you.
--> Connect with fellow parents and carers who share similar experiences and create a supportive community for the journey ahead.

WHAT TO EXPECT...
**9.45-10.15** WELCOME AND WARM-UP:
At the start of each session, you will be warmly welcomed and guided through the health and safety arrangements. You can take your time to settle in, feed or change your baby, and get comfortable. Once everyone is settled, there is a gentle warm-up to help you and your baby ease into the movement. Feel free to share your goals and preferences for the day's session - whether you want to dance, observe, or explore something specific, the choice is entirely yours.
**10.15-10.45** SILENT DISCO:
It's time to immerse yourself in the silent disco! Dance to your heart's content, sing along, or simply find joy in watching others. There will be two different genres of music, allowing you to explore various rhythms and dance styles. Remember, there's no pressure or judgment-just a space for you to be yourself.
**10.45-11.15** COOL-DOWN AND CHAT:
As the session winds down, we'll gradually transition into a cooling-down phase. Take this opportunity to reflect on your experience and engage in conversations with fellow parents and carers. Share your thoughts, emotions, and any valuable insights you gained during the session. It's an open and supportive environment where your experiences matter.
