We are a secondary school located in Letchworth Garden City where challenge, excellence and co-operation are our core values. We offer a positive and successful learning environment where all our students can achieve to the highest possible standard, within a framework of strong relationships. A Fearnhill student is a young person who is ready to take their place in a challenging and complex world because of their understanding of themselves and others, their knowledge and skills and their readiness to take on new challenges.

Fearnhill students are expected to take pride in themselves, the school and its facilities. All students are expected to arrive at school on time, equipped and wearing full uniform, indicating that they are ready to learn. The uniform demonstrates our shared identity and values and creates a professional working atmosphere, supporting our continual focus on high academic standards. We expect all students to work to the best of their ability to reach personal goals. We believe in regularly celebrating achievement in all its many forms, and we share success in partnership with our students and their families.

Many of our students continue their studies in our vibrant and successful Sixth Form and from there many progress to Russell Group universities including Oxford and Cambridge. Our 'Fearnhill Flyers' programme, in partnership with Balliol College, Oxford, supports our high achievers as they move through the school to ensure they are ready for the highest level of academic challenge.
