Christmas Creative Market at Hitchin Town Hall

Hitchin is where our Shop Small Markets began and are always hugely popular with both stall holders and shoppers. This year we have 2 dates with different stalls each day! This means we will be showcasing 76 small businesses over 2 floors throughout the weekend! The perfect place to get all that Christmas Shopping done!

The Snowman TM Exhibition at North Herts Museum

It may be a bit early to think about snow but The Snowman TM, an enchanting exhibition for all the family, comes to Hitchin from 5th October, so you can plan a visit on a wet winter weekend or October half-term holiday!

We will be hosting a charity fayre in aid of 3 year old twins Marlowe & Harper who were born with Celerbal Palsy along with other medical conditions. All money raised at the fayre will go towards a 3 week intensive therapy course at The Napa Center in London. Along side other treatment the girls are receiving their family feel this will be one of the best chances for the girls to further their development.

Family Forest School at the Triangle Garden Hitchin

Join us for some fun in the wild! Triangle Garden Family Forest School is for families with children aged 3-12 to get outdoors, have fun, learn new skills, and make new friends. Playing outdoors the Forest School way builds confidence, allows risk taking and encourages team building skills. All sessions are lead by a qualified Forest School leader in collaboration with Culturewood CiC. Please come to this event on foot or cycle or using public transport. Parking is very restricted and we want to actively encourage participants to travel sustainably.

Christmas Fair at Howard Garden Social Centre

Traditional Christmas Fair in a warm and welcoming venue nestled in Howard Park, very close to Letchworth town centre. It runs from 10am to 2pm - so defy Storm Bert and kick start the festive season with hot chocolate, mince pies, Christmas gifts and crafts, facepainting, tombola and a raffle with lots of lovely locally sourced prizes.
All in a fabulous cause - it's the launch event for our fundraising appeal. Help secure the future of this 71 year old Letchworth institution, which has brought friendship and food to the elderly and isolated in Letchworth since 1953.

Knebworth Christmas Lights Big Switch-On at St Martins Church

🎄 One of the highlights of the year, the village Christmas lights will be turned on at a family fun event run by Knebworth Parish Council. Highlights include:
🎶 Performances from Stagecoach, Knebworth Community Chorus, and Knebworth School choir, before the big countdown with Kevin Bonavia at 6.30pm.
🎸 🎤 Followed by more great live music from Kit Bottomley and The Scallywags on the stage, and carol singing led by Herts Musical Memories in the Church.
🎁 Browse our stalls for some fantastic Christmas presents, including beautiful skincare and jewellery, books, and unique homeware and decorations.
🎅 Visit the grotto to tell Santa if you've been naughty or nice! Don't forget the face painting and craft, and a preschooler play area in the church, and activity stalls for all ages on the Green.
