With the National Trust's goodwill and encouragement, the redundant 18th century barn was transformed into Hill Farm Barn "Walk in Café" supplying the area with a charming and educational rest stop for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and families. The Farm offers children the opportunity to see, learn about and interact with farm animals through activities such as bottle-feeding lambs, hand-feeding sheep and goats, grooming ponies and stroking rabbits. There are loads of other fun things to do from Go-Karts and Crazy Golf to Digger Village and Shaggy's Cove as well as the huge indoor Shaggy's PlayWorld and Topsy Turvy Towers outdoor adventure playground.

With more than 120 acres of land, which is home to a large range of livestock, available for sale, Nathan's Farm is a lovely place to visit.
We have a small petting area, farm shop, selling eggs, animal feed and accessories and our cafe serves sandwiches, hot drinks and ice-creams. We also provide children's farm parties.

An RSPB wetland nature reserve. We have a variety of trails to take a walk round (wheelchair accessible) and 7 hides for watching wildlife. There is also a visitor centre with classrooms, toilet & baby changing facilities, a cafe & picnic area. We offer a year-round events programme for children, adults & families. Free for RSPB members with a small charge per car for non members. Please check for opening times.

Come & visit our amazing animal sanctuary, with many rehomed exotic animals. Feed the vibrant koi in a lake thriving with wildlife. See yellow belly sliders in their natural environment, & iguanas roaming freely in the warmer weather. We pride our sanctuary on its personable, friendly team, who work tirelessly to ensure the health & happiness of all the animals. The Sanctuary is available for tours, private functions, school visits & children's parties.

Two Oaks pony sanctuary is a pony and horse rescue & rehabilitation home in Northchurch, Berkhamstead. We are a non government funded organisation so have to work extra hard to raise the funds we so desperately need. Although pony and horse rescue is our main objective, we also rescue a number of different animals including; goats, pigs, feral cats, chickens, geese and ducks. Entry is free. Open 11am-2pm... Willows Farm Village offers a wonderful family day out with a fun packed programme of farmyard animals, adventure play including Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground, fun fair rides, children's shows, falconry displays and tractor rides. We've plenty of indoor adventure soft play too. With a seasonally changing programme there is always something new to see.

Woburn Safari Park is an action packed day for all the family with over 80 species of animals including lions, tigers and bears. From the Road Safari where you can go round as many times as you like to the Foot Safari where you can mingle with the animals, grab lunch before watching the keeper demonstrations. Don't forget to try the Swan Boats and Train plus the Mammoth Play Ark for indoor fun whatever the weather. There is also a high ropes course.

BOOK YOUR VISIT ONLINE. You can get up close and personal with our animals. Feed them, pet them and even cuddle them during our 'Cuddly Encounters' hands on sessions. As well as our wide range of farm, zoo and exotic animals there are tractor & trailer rides, animal demonstrations, a mini fun fair, crazy golf and lots of outdoor play fun. For rainy days there's the heated indoor soft play centre and cafe.
