Out of hours services 
Out of hours is defined as weekdays from 6.30pm to 8am the following morning, Saturday and Sunday all day and on bank/public holidays.

For medical emergencies, call 999 or if possible, make your way to the nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E). In Colchester this is located at: Colchester Hospital, Turner Road, Colchester, CO4 5JL

For non-emergencies, please call the NHS 111 service and you will be given an appointment for the out-of-hours service. Calls from landlines and mobiles are free. More information about this service can be found at www.nhs.uk/111

Emergency Prescriptions

If you get your medicine with a repeat prescription, you can use the 111 online emergency prescription service.

If your medicine is not prescribed as a repeat prescription, you can get help from 111 online or call 111 to discuss your options.

Urgent Dental Care

If you require urgent dental advice and your dentist is closed (6pm - 10.30pm weekdays, during weekends and over bank holidays) or require urgent dental treatment at weekends and bank holidays call 111.
