Children's activity clubs & classes

I have always had an interest in food since I was little, when my Nan taught us how to make cakes and we used to make these as a 'surprise' weekly for my dad who would be helping out at my Nan's allotment. I went on to study food technology at GCSE and A Level, and then further progressed to studying Food and Nutrition at degree level.

For the last 12 years I have worked in various food manufacturing companies in New Product Development and have developed and launched hundreds of food products into many UK retailers. My job has also taken me to visit food factories as far away as Thailand and Vietnam.

When my daughter was a toddler, I searched for cooking sessions however there was nothing at all around and I really saw a need for these. I was so excited when I discovered Cook Stars and thought it was such a good idea, however there wasn't a franchise near where I was living - so I decided to take things into my own hands! I don't believe that cooking skills are taught enough in schools and these classes really help children learn and develop in so many ways.
