The co-founders of purple foals, Bonnie and Tahnee, met on a baby course when their babies were newborn. Their mutual love for horses was a common interest that got them chatting outside of the course and they quickly became good friends.



Both Bonnie & Tahnee have run their own businesses before they had their babies and were ready to get back to some sort of work without having to leave their babies in childcare so they came up with the idea of soft play hire.



Bonnie ran a successful dog walking company called Super Hounds & Co in the Sudbury area, and whilst it was her perfect job for many years it was sadly not feasible to keep running with a baby in tow. Bonnie has her own dog so still enjoys a lot of dog walks and being outdoors with her horses, along with her son Rupert who's becoming an eager outdoor explorer! Bonnie loves to be active so setting up hires is always fun as there's lots to prepare, carry and move about at every hire.

Tahnee is a mum to two children and worked in childcare for many years, as well as having her own business creating personalised vinyl items. She always lots of brilliant ideas for the business as she has great experience in knowing what children love, and what will keep them happy and busy playing for hours. Tahnee loves everything looking perfect so she's in charge of aesthetics and getting everything looking totally amazing at every hire!



So, the idea for soft play hire ticked all the boxes for their new venture and they knew they could make it a success together...Purple Foals was born! They spent many months of planning and carrying out market research, choosing the best equipment possible and choosing colours and products to suit a range of parties.

They wanted to have something different than the current market was offering and really hope their future customers love what they've chosen and what's on offer.



Purple foals was launched in January 2023 and has been off to a flying start with the support of other local business and baby/toddler groups, as well as family and friends.



Look out for Rupert and Brianna who are both fantastic equipment testers! And rest assured, safety is paramount and has been highly considered when choosing all of the equipment purple foals have on offer as they know just how important our little one's safety is.



More plans are already in motion to offer themed packages and other items so you can choose a package and any extras that are perfect for your individual party!
