This 200 acre nature reserve is situated on the banks of the River Colne with magnificent views over the Colne Estuary and saltmarsh. There is a great range of habitats from heathland, woodland, scrub to ponds and lakes with 9 hides to relax and watch the wildlife from.
The visitor centre includes a well-stocked gift shop and tearoom offering light lunches, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
Easy access toilet & baby changing facilities.
Activities and Events: Children's activities are available every school holiday. Children's outdoor birthday parties and weekly toddler group available throughout the year. Regular adult activities including guided walks and workshops available. Full details on the website or Facebook.
We have a room that groups can hire 12 boardroom style or 20 adults conference.
