We are a day special school for pupils aged 5-16 who experience moderate learning difficulties.

Each and every day we are lucky enough and have the privilege of working with the most amazing, unique children who never fail to inspire, interest and educate us in ways we could never have imagined. We are a forward thinking school and understand that every child is an individual and do our utmost best to ensure they are given the support, guidance and opportunity to succeed in an environment where they feel safe, secure and valued.

At MFS the staff are highly experienced, dedicated and care deeply about nurturing and encouraging all children to achieve their best. From our older students undertaking GCSE's or accredited courses, our younger children taking their very first steps into education and our children working in our Enhanced Autism Provision classes, we will be there for each and every one of them along their school journey. We are more than just a school - we are family.
