Welcome

Hi I'm Taela and I run the Mum's guide to Colchester website and social media pages. 

I live in Colchester with my husband, our 2 year old daughter and our labrador. 

We spend quite a bit of time outdoors usually with our dog and when we're not outdoors we enjoy messy play indoors or trying a local class out.  Ever since I became a mum I've been desperate to find a website that has all things parenthood in one place.  I don't know about you but I am forever googling 'things to do in the rain' or 'child friendly restaurants' and every time I'm presented with multiple websites that I need to sift through.  So when I heard about the 'Mum's guide to' websites I immediately know this was going to be the project for me.  

I will continue to build and add to this website as much as possible but I am by no means a local expert, nor a parenting expert so if there is anything you think I'm missing from this site then please, please feel free to drop me and email [email protected] and let me know.
