She has been so easy to work with, being really flexible about booking in ad hoc sessions and adapting the lessons to meet my daughter's specific needs. Initially my daughter was not particularly enthusiastic about the idea of tutoring but she has loved her sessions. She bounces out of the lessons and says that Amanda is her favourite teacher ever. She comes out with real pride at her work and the stickers she has earned. We are on Amanda's waiting list for regular sessions - the fact that she has a waiting list is testament to her in itself! Our daughter looks forward to every session and thinks Maths with Amanda is a lot of fun - this in itself is a big improvement in mindset. "We were looking for 11+ support for our daughter (Year 5) and feel very fortunate to have found Amanda. She has given us structure and a better understanding of what is expected of students taking the 11+ and Independent school exams as well as thorough and well explained tutoring sessions for our daughter. In an hour she covers a huge amount but is conscious not to overload, she teaches methods to help her students navigate problems and goes over areas that need additional time. Our daughter has formed a fantastic relationship with Amanda, she really enjoys her weekly class and in her last school exams, we saw better results owing to her support. "

"I was extremely thankful to have found Amanda. She initially supported my son (Yr 3), who was struggling a bit with English. After his initial assessment she highlighted the main areas where he needed some extra support and personalised his learning to his individual needs. He enjoys his sessions and his confidence has grown a great deal. She has also given me so much advice on now best to support him at home with his learning, and I have seen a great improvement in his work. My daughter (Yr 5) has now also started tutoring with Amanda. She is dyslexic and although she manages well in class, I knew Amanda could provide her with confidence in her learning and help equip her with the skills she needs to maximise her potential. The 1:1 classes are invaluable. I really cant recommend Amanda enough. I wish we'd found her sooner."

"My daughter has been having 1:1 tuition with Amanda for a couple of months now. She needed a bit of a boost in some areas of English and maths. Amanda filled us with confidence as soon as we met her. Her first stop was to ask my daughter to complete a range of tests so that she could clearly identify areas which needed extra work. This was an excellent way to ensure the previous hour is individually tailored to my daughter's needs. My daughter enjoys her tutor sessions; they are relevant, interesting and fun and Amanda is full of encouragement and praise. My daughter has recently been diagnosed with dyslexia and as well as reading the 28 page document in full, Amanda arranged for us to meet and discuss the recommendations to ensure she was doing everything she could to use the most appropriate learning systems for my daughter. I can't recommend Amanda highly enough! "
