Maths Plus Tuition is a small, online tutoring company that offers support to children aged 11 - 18. The company was started by Paula in 2019 and we are proud to have an extremely high success rate in both GCSE Maths, GCSE Statistics and A-level.
Paula is the main tutor for the company and she has over 24 years experience as a Maths Educator, previously holding posts as Head of Maths and Head of Sixth Form.
Recently we have moved from 1 to 1 to small group tuition. This form of support won't suit every child but is often chosen if the young person has anxiety, is naturally shy or they simply enjoy listening to the ideas and explanations of several people and not just the tutor.
The courses we provide are less expensive in comparison to 1 to 1 sessions and they offer targeted support to improve grades in significantly less time than in school alone. This is due to having a structured programme with regular homework, set and marked by the tutor, and excellent communication between the tutor and the parent/carer.
