The Kumon Berkhamsted Study Centre has been helping children develop strong foundations in maths and English for over 20 years. Our aim at the Berkhamsted study centre is to help every child achieve their personal best, whether they want to catch up with schoolwork or want to further develop their skills. Children of all ages can benefit from the Kumon programmes with topics starting at pre-school level all the way up to A-level standard.

The centre is located upstairs in the historic Old Town Hall in the centre of Berkhamsted High Street and at Swing Gate Infant school just a few hundred metres down the road. There is a calm and supportive atmosphere where students can work safely and thrive. Children start by doing work they are comfortable with in order to build their confidence. They then progress through the topics at their own pace. They are encouraged to work independently but there is always help at hand if needed.

Children typically attend the centre every week for approximately half an hour per subject. Time slots are allocated so student numbers are controlled. Changing between days and times can be arranged to suit families and their other commitments.
