Children's activity clubs & classes

As Scouts, we believe in providing young people with skills for life. That's why we encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more.

Each week, we give over 450,000 young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed. We're talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience - skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We're part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

Beavers
Our members are aged between 6 and 8, and they take part and enjoy an active, exciting, fun, and adventurous programme of activities. We meet on Monday nights from 5pm - 6pm

Cubs
Our members are aged between 8 and 10½, and they take part and enjoy an active, exciting, fun, and adventurous programme of activities. Monday Pack meet every Monday from 6:30-8:00pm. Friday Pack meet every Friday from 6:30-8:00pm

We spend most weeks between Easter and late September 'outside'. We take a break during the Summer holidays as many Cubs are on holiday. We camp once every year for a weekend and we attend competitions at which pack awards can be obtained, these are often used as a basis of cub training.

Scouts
Our members are aged between 10½ and 14, and they take part and enjoy an active, exciting, fun, and adventurous programme of activities. The Jubilee troop meets on Tuesday nights from 7pm - 8:30pm

As a troop we camp at least once every year, and there are opportunities for weekend competitions and award based training.
