Rush Judo
Age: 5 - Adult
Rushjudo, opened its doors for the first time in November 2009.
It has long been the ambition of the Rush family to open up their own Judo club, in order to give back to the sport that has given them so much. Rushjudo has been made possible thanks to the kind generosity of the late Gordon Rush, a true legend and a huge supporter of judo. The club is named and dedicated in his memory.
At Rushjudo we pride ourselves on being inclusive and open to all people. We cater for - beginners - children through to pensioners, Recreational players, Competition players and we also specialise in teaching people with learning disabilities in partnership with Dacorum Mencap.
In 2005 we moved to Ashlyns School where we converted an old gym into modern dojo with a sprung floor and seating area for parents.

This class is dedicated to teaching judo to children with learning difficulties / disabilities.
At Rushjudo we endeavour to accommodate any ability in any of our classes, however we have also learned from experience that many children will give up easily if they struggle to settle in. Having the option of a class where children can just be themselves and learn at their own pace has proven to be very successful.
The team have years of experience and are more than happy to talk to any parents who may be feeling apprehensive about their child taking part. The class is all about fun , exercise, judo, gaining extra confidence as well as providing a greater social circle for children and their families.
