As the Easter Bunny makes his rounds, families in and around Berkhamsted have a plethora of activities to enjoy during the school holidays. Here are some top picks for 2025:

Farms and Animal Encounters

Willows Activity Farm: Join the Easter Eggstravaganza featuring egg hunts, easter grotto, easter arts and crafts, and adorable spring animals. Dates: 5th April 2025 – 21st April 2025.

Mead Open Farm: Step right up for an unforgettable Easter at Mead Open Farm as Happy's Circus sets up their Big Top for jaw-dropping performances and must-see shows, as well as bottle feeding lambs and plenty of farm fun. Dates: 5th April 2025 – 21st April 2025.

Whipsnade Zoo: Join the Zoonormous Egg Hunt to seek out eggs of all sizes, patterns and colours hidden around the Zoo, while learning about egg-ceptional species along the way. Dates: 5th April 2025 – 21st April 2025.

Odds Farm Park: Participate in the Springtime Scavenger Hunt, enjoy live shows, and get creative with arts & crafts. Dates: Dates: 5th April 2025 – 21st April 2025.

Herrings Green Activity Farm: Meet spring babies with lamb feeding sessions (certain dates only, check the website for details and animal encounters. Dates: 5th April 2025 – 23rd April 2025.

National Trust and English Heritage Sites

Hughenden: EMake your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. Dates: Saturday, Dates: 29th March - 21st April.

Wrest Park: Join the Easter Adventure Quest, solving clues around the historic grounds to earn a chocolate reward. Dates: Saturday, 5th April 2025 – Sunday, 27th April 2025.

Waddesdon Manor: This Easter our trail is jam-packed with lots of fun games and creative activities. Follow your map, get involved in each activity and don’t forget to collect your chocolate egg at the end! Dates: Wed 9 – Sun 13 April and Wed 16 – Mon 21 April.

Dunstable Downs: The year is 1232, and King Henry III has called for all knights and nobles to gather for an Easter tournament at Dunstable Downs. Are you up for the challenge? Dates: Friday, 11th April 2025 – Sunday, 27th April 2025.

Cliveden: Put on your bunny ears and explore the beautiful gardens during the Easter Egg Hunt. Dates: Saturday, 5th April 2025 – Sunday, 27th April 2025.

Science and Nature Activities

Discover Bucks Museum: Join us for a fantastic line-up of family fun Easter activities, including The Sand Dragon: Puppet Show & Puppet Making Workshop. Dates: 29th March - 21st April.

Natural History Museum at Tring: Don your eggs-plorer's hat and search our galleries high and low for hidden eggs. Dates: 5th April 2025 – 20th April 2025.
RSPB Rye Meads: Take part in our brand new family trail for the Easter holidays! Dates: The trail is available Sunday – Thursday (we’re closed Friday and Saturday)

Bletchley Park: Hop to Bletchley Park for egg-stra special fun for all ages this Easter – try our egg-ceptional activities for families or join an egg-citing family tour. Dates: 7th April 2025 – 21st April 2025.
