Music

Our thriving training band includes youngsters and adult learners, aged 8 to 88, from complete beginners up to grade 4 and beyond. New players are always welcome, and instruments are available for hire. The Training Band rehearse on a Monday evening from 6.45pm to 7.45pm at the Band room in Apsley.

We currently offer 1-2-1 lessons on all instruments and run a weekly Brass Class and Ukulele Club.

In our beginner Brass Class your child will learn to buzz and produce a clear tone on their chosen instrument. They will learn the basics of music theory and build the foundations of great musicianship. We have many brass instruments available to rent on a monthly basis.

Our Singaling sessions run on Tuesday & Friday mornings at the Forster Institute Leighton Buzzard & St Leonards Church Hall, Heath & Reach. We can also be hired for parties, nursery and pre-schools.

The Diversity Project is a great opportunity for young people that enjoy singing, rapping or spoken word to hone in on their skills, record their own music and explore equality and diversity through mixed media.
