Luton Library Theatre opened in 1962 firstly as a lecture theatre then it gradually changed to a traditional entertainment venue with 256 seats and two side aisles. It began to build up a programme of amateur drama, film, music of all types, professional drama and music, children's events in fact a pretty long list of events that covers almost every taste.

The Alban Arena is a well established entertainment venue with a busy programme of National Touring Shows, Rock and Pop Concerts, Comedy, Films, Exhibitions and the region's most popular Christmas Pantomime. There are regular shows for families that shouldn't be missed!

Cinema and theatre. The cinema has a kids club on Saturday and Sunday mornings showing children's films for £1, and screenings most thursday morning for parents and babies under 36 months. The theatre regularly hosts children and family-friendly productions.
