We look beyond conditions & take a holistic approach to a patient, using manual techniques to restore, maintain & support health & wellbeing. 



1. Babies & young children



We utilise a range of techniques including physical manipulation, stretching & massage, as well as gentle techniques such as cranial osteopathy. 



Cranial techniques are safe, gentle, & non-manipulative. They are often used when treating young children & newborn infants. 



Cranial techniques can help to release & balance areas of physical tension, helping to soothe & relax as well as promoting freer movement where the muscles have been tight.



2. Teenagers



We see teens with sports injuries, pain caused by poor posture, seeking help with the physical & mental challenges of being a teen & the inability to relax caused by the stress of exams or the pressures of social media.



We give teens the time they need to discuss their issues & listen with sensitivity before moving onto treatment. Many have been coming to the clinic for years.



3. Pregnant & post-natal women



When pregnant, the body goes through significant rapid changes & our centre of gravity will shift as the baby bump grows. 



Another big change is the production of the hormone, relaxin, designed to increase blood flow & relax the pelvic ligaments.

The physical exertion on our bodies during birth, including the rapid widening of the birth canal & immediate shift in the centre of gravity post-birth, can put a lot of strain on the body.



These physical changes can impact our muscles, ligaments & how we feel in ourselves. Treatment can help to relieve some of these tensions & stresses, promoting an improved sense of wellbeing.
