You don't need to book your ticket in advance, but you will always get the best price and guaranteed entry by booking online ahead of your visit. If you are an English Heritage Member you will get free entry to the site and reduced price entry on event days.

Please note that the café, shop and playpark are situated within the site and a ticket will be required to visit these areas.
