Rothamsted Park is an important recreational space, well known for its beauty, diversity and history. It is a much-treasured open space and welcomes many visitors every day. The Park covers 23.7 hectares (58.6 acres) and provides a home for many of the town's sport and recreational activities including the Skate Park, a fabulous play area newly-refurbished in 2021, floodlit courts for tennis, and 5-a-side football, 2 cricket squares and several football pitches. Also the park provides access to The Eric Morecambe Centre and the Harpenden Leisure Centre .
Toilets and a cafe are available in the Harpenden Leisure Centre.
Paid parking on Amenbury Lane. Some free parking available on Leyton Road.
